About the Farm
Frozen Coast Farm is a small-scale organic farm located on unceded W̱SÁNEĆ territory (Saanich, BC). Our primary mission is to provide delicious, fresh, local vegetables and fruit while fostering a sense of community and reconnecting people with the land.
We are committed to using organic and sustainable agricultural practices to keep our soil and watershed healthy and full of life. We practice low-till farming so as not to disturb the precious micro-organisms and soil life.
We aim to work towards food security and food sovereignty on Vancouver Island, where eating locally and seasonally becomes a norm.
We are operating out of Haliburton Community Organic Farm.

About the Farmer
Farmer Véronique
Véronique is a professional dancer who recently turned her focus to farming. She is forever curious and in awe of the natural world and is endlessly pleased to work along with it every day. She started Frozen Coast Farm as celebration of good food and a commitment to to building a resilient and sustainable local food system.
When not in the field, you can find Véronique going for an ocean dip, spying on some birds through her binoculars, and of course dancing!
